Dorian Mellon, Gavin Mellon and Olijah Armstrong will be traveling to California on December 6th to compete in the USJA Winter Nationals. We all wish them the best of luck at the tournament. Click here to view the tournament website.
Just got the results of the team that went to the Winter Nationals.
Gavin Mellon won Gold in his division with a 3-0 record.
Olijah Armstrong placed 5 with a 1W 2L record. Olijah was close to a medal but lost in the final seconds of his third match.
Dorian Mellon did not come away with a placing but played hard and lost out the eventual Gold medal winner.
Gavin was the pick of the MVJ Shiai Obi Award.
A big thanks to Jennifer for setting this trip up for here kids and taking Olijah along with them. Thank you.
